The UNIMAT 1 CLASSIC opens new dimensions in applications and precision.  In addition to the machines found in the BASIC unit, the UNIMAT 1 CLASSIC will amaze you with functions seen only in larger, more expensive lathes and mills.

Metal Turning Lathe:

Turn soft metal just like a toolmaker.  Longitudinal and cross slides with mm-scaled handwheels allow for precise work of up to an accuracy of 0.03mm.  Built with the same quality components as an expensive lathe, the UNIMAT 1 metal turning lathe gives the user the opportunity to make axes, rims, metal connectors and much more, both efficiently and effectively.

Wood Turning Lathe:

Turn wood  shapes quickly, easily and professionally.  Will turn every type of wood up to 2" (50mm) in diameter. Woodturning attachment has a center height of 1" (25mm); the distance between centers is 5-1/3" (135mm).

Horizontal Mill:

The tool of choice for architectural models, groove and tongue connections, and other fittings.  Collets with 0.5mm to 6mm diameter clamping range promote a true running for the milling steels.

Hand Drilling and Hand Sanding

Use the main motor for hand drilling and free form hand sanding.

JigSaw

 Converts to a useful jigsaw for materials up to 7mm thick.  2,000 RPM.  Blade included.

Drill Press:

Precise drilling in every conceivable angle.  The machining center will allow for work on the X-, Y- and Z-axis.  Three precise slides, two of which turn 360 degrees, allow for 3-dimensional work.  This is a real source of enjoyment for the technician.  Accommodates every type bit or collet from 0.5mm to 6mm in diameter.

Vertical Mill:

Assembled with the included HSS milling cutter, the drill press changes into a vertical mill.  In addition, you can use virtually every commercial milling cutter, including end milling cutters and T-slot cutters up to a fixing diameter of 6mm.

In addition to the standard machines included in the kit, this UNIMAT 1 modular system offers an unlimited variety of potential tool machines due to the wide range of available accessories.
